Artist Spotlight - David Simmons - In Memoriam
The Watertown-area performing arts community is trying to cope with a major loss.
David A. Simmons, a choreographer, light technician, assistant director, and so much more, passed away on September 13th. As a self-taught choreographer, which is a rarity, he was able to create unique dance numbers with students at Watertown High School and, most recently, Stage Notes.
Our hope is that those whose lives have been touched by David throughout his many years in the theater community will remember his belief in everyone’s abilities; dancers and non-dancers alike.
